My Story
Tina has been a licensed cosmetologist for over 21 years. She began her career at Hair Cuttery in 2005, where she worked until 2008. With ten years of experience in law enforcement and a bachelor's in Business Administration, she brings a unique combination of business knowledge, leadership, discipline, and creativity to the beauty industry. Her diverse professional background has shaped her approach to salon ownership, emphasizing integrity, accountability, professionalism, mutual respect, and clear expectations. She is dedicated to maintaining a welcoming, peaceful, and structured environment where clients feel valued and independent beauty professionals have the opportunity to thrive.
Throughout her career, Tina has developed a passion for working with all hair textures, embracing the artistry and versatility that each brings. Her expertise encompasses natural hair care, relaxers, precision haircutting, hair coloring including vivids and block color, advanced lightening including balayage, foilyage, teasylights, babylights, as well as braiding and extensions. She takes great pride in helping clients achieve and maintain healthy hair while viewing hair as a canvas for artistic expression. Her approach combines technical knowledge, creativity, and a commitment to preserving the integrity of the hair.
Tina firmly believes that knowledge is meant to be shared, not withheld. Guided by her philosophy, "Each one, teach one", she is passionate about educating, mentoring, and empowering the next generation of beauty professionals. Through her cosmetology apprenticeship program, she provides aspiring cosmetologists with hands on training, practical experience, and professional guidance to help build their technical skills, confidence, and understanding of the industry.
